Our working hours are based on 1 to 1.5 shifts. Regarding the organization of commercial working hours (production and warehouse), we involved our employees in a vote in 2022. The result with an overwhelming majority, was: 06:00 to 15:00 as basic working hours. This benefits families with children in particular, as parents can plan ahead and are home earlier than usual. At the same time, the commercial working hours (administration) were adjusted to 07:00 to 16:00 and shortened to 14:00 on Fridays. Thanks to our high level of digitalization and corresponding planning tools, overtime has also been greatly reduced and is now rare.
WFG Wellpappen Freigericht GmbH has been a training company for packaging technologists, machine and plant operators and industrial clerks for several years. Our 12 former and current trainees are actively supported and occupy important positions in our company.
